Nike was born to show! Santina spent every day with Nike and in training for all the wins you will see listed below. This kind of winning is only done with hard work, dedication, love and conditioning of the dog. Champions are made not born. My daughter had a very special gift to show dogs. I loved Nike very much.
Nike won 5 majors in 6 shows, was ranked a AKC Champion & TOP 20 akita beating our NATIONAL BEST IN SHOW WINNING bitch" BIS/BISS Ch Mt.Joys Shades Of Wynter in Kentucky for Best of Breed! and Wynters TOP handler, by my 17 year old daughter Santina for this win. Santina showed Nike is five States. (Santina is pictured showing ALL of our dogs on this site.)

Vegas Akita Specialty from the 9-12 mo puppy class, winners dog, best of winners, best Jr. & best Sr puppy, BEST PUPPY IN SWEEPSTAKES, BEST PUPPY IN SHOW AT AKITA CLUB OF VEGAS.
New Mexico Akita Specialty from the puppy class 9-12 puppy, winners dog, BEST OF WINNERS. (We flew in for one night, took home the major)
Los Angeles Akita specialty BACK TO BACK BEST PUPPY IN SWEEPS, awarded by the Akita club of America president Mr. Mike Bennett, and by Respected Sweeps judge Mr. Keith Pautz (supported entry) specialty Best puppy in Sweeps!
Regular class 6-9 puppy All arounder and AKC best in show judge Mr. Lester Mapes awarded Nike a 4 pt Major.
San Francisco Won best of Opp sex in sweeps at Golden Gate Akita specialty by respected Akita breeder & sweeps judge Danial Overstreet.
Kentucky Best of Breed over the Akita club of America's BEST IN SHOW winner Wynter, and other top winning akitas coming off the Westminster circut.

Ch. Nike was bred/owned/handled by my daughter Santina to all his wins prior to her 18th birthday. Remember what the great judge Cathrine Bell told you Santina when she pulled you and your puppy aside to show her preliminary judge Nike, and said QUOTE: " This IS what an Akita should look like, This is a best in show dog, keep up the good work"
Remember "Papoose" telling you QUOTE: "This is a very nice puppy Santina do not let them run you out like they ran me out, they are "afraid of you" you bet they were!
For those of you who have not been in the breed long enough to know who Papoose is.....she is the fantastic handler of "Joker" a widow-maker son who was run out of the akita breed by poor sports and unkind people she beat in the ring. These people should be suspended from AKC who do this kinda thing, buy or breed better dogs...
